1/11/24 Holdover Stripers Good

With the recent wam up and rain I figured there'd be an uptick in action with the local Holdovers. I went my local Holdover zone and started wading the shoreline throwing the X-Rap 10. I didn't have to wait long for the first bite, but it would turn out to be a White Perch about 12". A few casts later I got another bite, this time from the Target Species, and a good one at that. The fish fought hard given the cold water, and after a 2 minute fight on light tackle, I slid a 37" Bass on to shore. From there, I went a solid 2 hours without a bite, fishing my way around the shoreline, until I came to a stretch where there was some life.
