1/30/24 CT Trophy Brown Stocking

It was announced yesterday that Beach Pond and Long Pond were stocked with the Broodstock Seaforellen Browns. Connecticut seems to do these stockings each winter, amongst other stocking of Trout and Salmon. This is the first time I have seen them announce the actual day they stocked, and I took full advantage by going to Beach Pond to try my luck today, first for a couple hours in the morning, then for a couple hours before dark.
