By now the Saltwater action is virtually non existent. Some Straggler Stripers might be found here or there, some Atlantic Mackerel or Hickory Shad might still be roaming around, and boats can still go out for Tog, Cod and Seabass, but my season is done. Even in NJ the bulk of the Bigger Striped Bass have moved south, though there is still great fishing happening with a smaller class of fish between 20"-35" taking place on the beaches and inside 3 miles down there. Some fish upwards of 40" are even still being reported in Ocean Co and south, and it wasn't too long ago that some of the biggest fish of the year would be taken off the Cape May County beaches in the late fall between Mid Nov and Early Dec.
