2/8/24 New Moon Chesapeake Bender

Warm Front, New Moon.. forget Ice Fishing, anywhere I'd want to go has marginal Ice at best, deteriorating as we speak as warm temps flood the region. February is a cold winter month yes, and often times Ice Fishing is the best option as everywhere is cold, frozen and dead, but when the winter overall is pretty mild, and we get a nice warm front to boost temps even higher, well theres only one place I want to be. I remember a few years back I was in Florida for 4 weeks from end of February to end of March, and while the Florida fishing was great and all, I kept thinking I'd rather be at the Chesapeake snooping around for big stripers.
