3/4/24 Feels Like Spring

Wanted to film a video today, and had several different ideas of possible locations and species I could target. Holdover Stripers, Winter Flounder, the Canal for Pollack/Mackerel, or Beach Pond for Trout, Bass and maybe a Walleye. I figured anything saltwater would likely be pretty brutalizing, and with 2" of rain the day before I figured the Holdover Striper locations I had in mind might be a little high and muddy, so I took the kayak over to Beach Pond to get out into the lake for the first time and see what was happening.
