Back to the same beach although I didn't get there until the early afternoon. Much less action, I saw some occassional breaks from fish out far but nothing close to range, and even what I was seeing far out was very isolated. Knowing the biomass of albacores had to be closeby I stuck it out and eventually a school of small bass popped up, the same schools I saw the couple days before, I only caught one in the moment they were showing in front of me before sinking back to the depths and vanishing. These schools of bass are not necessarily feeding, and the ones I had just seen definitely were not feeding, just slowly meandering and reluctant to hit a lure. Some rain came through and I sat in my car for 20 minutes waiting for it to pass before going back out, now around 3pm.
