10/20/23 Last Albie of the Season

This Albie season left something to be desired. You will always have up and down periods throughout the season, based on weather conditions and storms that will shuffle the fish and push them offshore, but this year was especially tough. It started off great with the biomass making landfall in early September, though some locations you'd expect to find them missed out on the first push, really the best action seemed to be from Pt Judith to Watch Hill. Middle of September we got the big Noreaster which killed the bite, and after that the fish really didn't want to come back in numbers. Some fish did show all around but they were often extra finicky.
