September and October mark some of the best fishing of the season here in RI, as our waters go from their warmest point and start to cool, triggering migration and the Fall Run as we know it. The diversity in species is pretty great inshore, but boat anglers find the same species and more. That period is just about over though, as the water temps have cooled into the 50's, NJ is seeing peak run Striped Bass, and RI is in transition from a blitz state to a tog state.
